Rusty Kettles in a Junk Store

salamanca markets; pretty sure this guy sold those ancient Goosebumps cards we used to get from lays chips for 50c

Topshop bustier and high waisted, extra long leggings (which feel like heaven by the way), dragon's claw necklace from 13moons, nude nail polish from sportsgirl.

Ah cheap thrills. Yay, more presents in the mail! Got all my orders from topshop and 13moons (a wiccan supplies online store? But the jewelry is great and the taro cards are little works of art; i'll post about that later). This week has literally felt like a year...which means this weekend, we're celebrating like it's new years. Work's taking us out to Kareoke tomorrow night, we'll be shaking it like vince taylor and his playboys. Ha.

TWO DAYS

I'm seeing them soon again, it's been too long!
They are the most beautiful boys in the world.
Please do not forgive me for subjecting you to these because you love it.
Oh, and they sing too.

Barbecue dog's head; when picnics in the park ceases to amuse, depeche Mode master and servant, tillman kaiser, photos by me.

Mid semesters are coming up as the unpredictable heat wave strikes.
Having ordered the last batch of wardrobe essentials, the weather chucks a bitch fit.
Yes, who needs this right now.

A little bitter these days, but what's pleasure without a little bit of pain once in a while? I'm wearing my best friend's grandmother's costume jewels, a vintage, 6-year-old- kid's-meant-to-be-blue velvet, baby doll dress-that-fits-a-top-on-me (I had to unpick the little heart tag, labeled JUNIOR OPTIONS sewn right on the chest, but I mean, this was $2 blue velvet okay), Aje leather shorts and creepers.

That's right, it's time to smoke and drink in your baby cousin's clothes, (what the fuck)?

De Humani Corporis Fabrica

De Humani Corporis Fabrica (On the Fabric of the Human Body) is one of the most influential works in the history of Western medicine. Vesalius was both a gifted dissector and a learned scholar whose great contribution was to apply to anatomy the critical methods developed by the Renaissance humanist scholars. Vesalius subjected the ancient authorities on anatomy to a rigorous test: a comparison with his own observations of the dissected human body. He collected and presented his findings in De Fabrica. In so doing he created the modern science of anatomy. The book was published in 1543, with more than 600 pages of text and beautifully detailed engravings by artists from the workshop of Titian.

This project is the result of collaboration between the National Library of Medicine in Bethesda, USA, and the British Library, both of whom hold a copy of this rare and important work. The copy seen here has passed through many hands. Phillip Melanchthon (1497-1560), its first owner, was an influential Swiss Protestant theologian and colleague of Martin Luther.

no strings

vintage sweater, leather skirt, doc martens

I haven't watched it in ten years.
I remember lending Pinocchio to a friend and never got it back.
It's okay, I don't have a tape player anymore, anyway.

A little around the eyes

I was pleasantly surprised, coming home to my Karen walker super duper strength sunglasses, sitting on my doorstep! Having just ordered online 2 days ago, shopbop.com never ceases to amaze.

This week, there's another miracle in the tabloids. It's something folks call the Roadkill Jesus Christ. The tabloids call him "The I-84 Messiah." Some guy who stops along the highway, wherever there's a dead animal, he lays his hands on it, and Amen. The ragged cat or crushed dog, even a deer folded in half by a tractor trailer, they gasp and sniff the air. They stand on their broken legs and blink their bird-pecked eyes.

collette dinnigan lace maxi dress, topshop bodysuit, ysl vintage bucket drawstring bag (best friend's), science of invention necklace, leather jacket from hong kong, STARK white socks and docs.

I finally got around to cutting the lining out of this collette dinnigan dress I got for ten bucks! I'm thinking about doing it with high waisted, mid length, bike shorts next time. A little bit of midriff (because of it's empire line waistline) and a little less witch. I liked the white socks with it to give for a bit of variation. Dirty old women and goth boys kept staring down at them. SHUT UP I say.

Oh well, back to writing my business law and ethics case study.
