Nothing beats a cold winter's day in bed with some anime, my plushy friends and a big cosy jumper! A mysterious fashion killer babe, goes by 'With Asian Stereotypes,' sent a few goodies my way. Strictly about pale complexions and black clothing, she has recently launched a line of sweaters, tanks and a few accessories that is W.A.S. It's a bit dark, a bit horror manga. YUS. So we could be kind of kindred spirits. More after the break!

Nightmare Vapours

I'm so excited to finally show you what I've been up to! It has been a long time coming, but I got to collaborate with two amazing creatives on a little project about a girl who is haunted by sweet but sometimes, sinister entities of another dimension.  Her mind is ruled by an obsessed illustrator, whatever he draws comes true in her world. She tries to ignore them but she would secretly feel lonely without them.

An unpredictable revolution

Last week I received this amazing bracelet, from Mimco. They asked me to interpret their latest collection, titled "An unpredictable revolution." These photographs were inspired by their intricate storyboard, mainly - tortured elegance; the light at dawn in the chateau de versailles, streaming into the boudoir of marie antoinette, a story of feminine adornment.

In Sophia Coppola's movie, Marie Antoinette sits in the fields, attempting to revert to a more natural state. She reads a passage by Rousseau about the natural state of man. In this way, 'an unpredictable revolution' lies within my favorite scene. inspiring the images I made. Huge thanks to Mimco and be sure to check out their beautiful video.
