Twistclip Loop

The best horror flicks were spawned in the 80's, you got The Shining, Evil Dead, The Thing Hellraiser, Nightmare on Elm, Amityville, Halloween, Gremlins and Child's Play to name some of my favourites off the top of my head. Now I feel as though we're just stuck with Hollywood churning out remasters and remakes all for HD'd blood and boring 'today' attire lacking a storyline and usually an over dramatic ending serving as an anti-climax, leaving you a little empty inside. For me, watching the classics in they're cinematic glory, awkward pacing, kitschy soundtrack give me the ultimate satisfaction.

vintage denim vest, american apparel crop, lace up leather short from hk, deadly ponies backpack (the deer leather feels like butter I'm so in love and slept with it in my bed the first night before it was taken out and put to with within the harsh outside world haha).

Being killed off in a gorey horror movie after putting up a fight is definitely one of the things on my bucket list. Now that I've been a  foreign exchange student turned zombie it doesn't beat being chained up hostel style, torn apart by zombies, running off into the woods and sliced up etc. Better yet being in stuff like Tokyo Gore Police and Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein girl or even the more lo-fi ones like Robo Geisha or Big Tits zombie kicking butt and doing the slicing! I'm always intrigued and inspired by the characters that are created by such messed up but genius minds.

What's your favourite classic horror film that you reckon I need to watch?

X RAY VISION

I always manage to own people in Marvel vs. Capcom, probably because I button mash pretty good and I manage to throw in a few impressive specials along the way. It's pretty much my second favorite to Tekken, meaning I could play it forever (or just a really looooong time) BUT it's still way cooler that you're a kick ass super hero 80% of the time or a badass villian. So guys, when will a horror villian on villian game come out. Can you imagine pinhead (hellraiser)/chucky/xenomorph vs. freddy kruger/leatherface/michael myers!!?? JIZZ.

lazy oaf kapow bodycon dress, ghostbag from etsy, agyness deyn x dr martens red velvet creepers (I have been wearing these errryday :).

Sorry for the rant and for putting up with the backwards superhero sound effects here! I ain't a super hero so I can afford to be lazy right? Speaking of which, Lazy Oaf (these guys aren't lazy) has been hot on my radar lately, has me at their batman collection! Now that my hair is darker after a bleach and dye home job with the help of a friend (update soon), a little more colour is called for.

Halloween is coming up, HOORAH what are your plans, who are you dressing up as? I'd love to run with the superhero theme if you got any suggestions (preferably with purple hair) that would be sweet!

My favorite manga would have to be, hands down, anything by Junji Ito. Long arduous bus rides fly by when I'm in his world of Gyo, Uzumaki and apart of the Museum of Horror Collection: Tomie.

I have also seen Uzumaki, the live action film;  interestingly it's eerie visuals and use of colour give off a 70s derelict, end of the world vibe which I adored and was more impressed when I realized it was produced in 2000. The trouble I had was how the bulk of horror and creepiness was lost in its translation to film, same with Tomie. Or maybe it comes down to the fact that I've been desensitized by all the gore films I indulge in?

In the end, I much prefer to stick to bold black and white raw graphics, it gives your imagination a workout, in my case everything is ten times more disturbing! The way that books are always better than the movie, a method better enjoyed, fully immersed even if it's a longer process, don't you think?

Now, if only Romance was Born would team up with Ito after marvel (s/s 2012/13), wouldn't that be a world worth living in (I'm sure my best friend would vom)!?

"If we were to wed"

(Had to show you this roz!)
Tim & Tim for harpers bazaar.

I would stab someone's leg for her red hair. I wish someone told me red was the hardest color to maintain. It's only been 3 weeks and my red is getting duller and duller, I'm hooked, addicted - like how people are to fake tan or botox. Must stock up on salon quality red hair dye and shampoo for red heads (containing red dye). Open to suggestions hot fake baked red heads out there!

I heard about using henna paint (cheaper and a way healthier) but apparently you can't have bleached or colored your hair for at least a year and even then, the results could be catastrophic, we are talking charcoal black hair forever or muddy green.
