Saw Outerwaves make some wonderful music for us on Saturday night as apart of the Brisbane Emerging Art Festival at Metro Arts. Had such a fun night of art gazing and unexpected performance art! Everyone went back to the boys' place for drinks, drawing, moosic making (with the rappers, bongos, mini korg, a selection of electronic 80's funvices lying about) and dress ups then trekking home as the sun come ups. Photos up on my instagram...it's nights like these that make you feel like everything can be okay if you want it to be.

aw remember the good old days, when my bedroom phone was a transparent green plastic thing as well as my transparent purple gameboy colour. Or my yellow blow up bubble backpack i won at a cancel when i was 12...ooh and glitter pink plastic sandals that would give u blisters as soon as you started sweating .
hmmm swear there was some more plastic in my life...all i know was it was the late 90s and i was exited for this new dark comic cyberpunk style going mainstream.

I love plastic clear items too... I remember my mom giving me my cousin's old clear plastic purse when i was younger and I thought it was ugly... looking back now I totally regret not wanting it...

Some clear things are nice, I would like a clear raincoat, but I think a lot of people want one of those. Some clear bags and shoes look awesome too... oh and watches. I love the images you've used for this post.

Ah I remember my jelly shoes - I used to love those things. My grandma once got me a pair of jelly shoes with a slight heel on and i felt like a real grown up :)
