Do it Do it Disco

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! Hope you all have a great day and hope that you get to enjoy it with those dearest to you.

I'm excited to share this shoot with you, taken back in August with a good friend of mine, Jonathan Rae. It's now published in Haunt Mag issue 7: Destination Unknown. You can see the full spread right here!

I got so many goodies from my trip, we decided to pull a few things out, scale walls, climb fences and break into some awesome locations for a shoot around Brisbane.

Thanks to the team at Jump From Paper, I scored this limited edition Caramel bag to play with for the shoot. I've been a fan of their unique, animated style since day one!

Baby Posh Spice Baby

It's Halloween but I'm missing out on all the parties this year as I'll be in Sydney for the weekend! Not stopping me from celebrating just a little, Baby Posh Spice style, like if they were cross bred...

vintage versace dress from kenji tokyo (favourite vintage store), opening ceremony x adidas shoes, sretsis bag, A land nail tattoos

Christmas came early, my boy got me these opening ceremony x adidas bad boys!! VOMM. Just been living in them since, goes with anything I sweeeeeaaaarrrrr.

On another note, I know you guys will be a little forgiving about going over the edges with the nails! I have to say that these are the easiest type of nail deco I have used and I've tried all types of stickers and pens... I got them from A land in Korea and I like how you can use them on your skin as well as they're just mini temporary tattoos!

Don't despair there are tons of things on ebay and here, on rad nail's site, who have super cool nail art ideas that incorporate your fingers too! I'm also dying to get some Hex Nail Jewelry which is next level shizzz. Has anyone tried to make their own temporary tattoos? Please share!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

DIY: Furry Heart Bag

Woo! Amongst the many hours I spent on Borderlands, GTA and most recently training to be the most basic Mortal Kombat fighter (I suck so bad) I made another drawstring bag. It's fluffy this time and has a plastic heart in the middle so everyone can see your things. I've also done a video on how I made it - hope it's okay for my first one :D.

I've also been thinking about new things to make so if you've seen something cool and have any suggestions, feel free to leave a comment!

Top and skirt from Tokyo (Shibuya 109), shoes by Tokyo Bopper, Joyrich socks.

That's it from me...happy crafting!

I make them too if you can't be bothered! :p pht.storenvy.com

Amnesia House

There was an 80s rave warehouse party on last weekend. I went 91', just couldn't resist. So I was preparing my high leg kicks and thinking everyone would be chewing gum like the video below promised. It wasn't something of "DJ CARL COXXXX!" (it will take a while before that voice stops echoing through your head after that video) proportions but at least there were smoke machines, plenty to drink, mini kaleidoscopes, daisy rings and friendly characters to keep one's raver heart content. All round good night!

hey creepy dude; lazy oaf batman sheer crop, AA disco pants, custom polka dot platforms, furby backpack from ebay.

So excited about Halloween this week! Though I might commit a slight  injustice and disappoint in the costume department...will be out at a few parties as well as Thurston Moore tomorrow night and rooftop ROLLER DISCO (jsdkfjsfksljf) as apart of Valley Fiesta (going to be massive and it's free)!

Big smiles all around, what is everyone up to for Halloween? No idea? Why not treat the occasion like april fools instead with a scary twist with the help of The Thousands cheap Hallowe’en DIY guide. It's pretty spot on and had me in stitches all morning at work!

Winter calls for indulging in the naughtiest treats you can imagine. But paying a visit to Lady Lamington more than a few times a week can be tough on those pennies.

Cheating with Lindt, we made the ultimate chilli hot chocolate and waffles concoction. You can make your own by melting down any block of chocolate with a little butter, flavored ones are funnest then just stir in a few cups of milk! However, if you have more time on your hands go the spiced hot cocolate recipe here and tell me how it goes.

What I wore to the outposts's, I used to skate once 8 last night; the boards were impressive and all round super fun night, watching boys on the ramps to The Kramers, Sewers and Six Ft Hick as well as a spot of dangerous drunken shopping in Winn Lane (evil tactics I tell you, get me at my weakest moment). Catch all the action via my instagram (@wenopia)!

One week left of uni FOREVERRRRRRR! Thus life truly begins (thug lyf) or ends via a full time job and evolving into a real adult. Nothing like a bit of nyan cat nostalgia I hope you appreciated the alliteration right thur.  I promise it's safe to listen to the song, it's kidnap kid! A little delusional, my bum physical aches from sitting in front of diablo for 3 hours straight.

Catch up with me via instagram (@wenopia) or battle.net cifixio#6388! (hah).

Nîmes ✌✌

asos crop, american apparel skirt, vintage denim jacket, werokay silk tote (cat$, car$ & money would make anyone's day)

Denim floats around and never gets old but when you add some cute patches and murals of your favorite cartoon, it's safe to say that loosing it would give off that devastating kick in the gut feeling of loosing your blankey when you were 12 (oh come off it, people always pass it off as if they were far younger, no one is judging here, you are your own person now and just in case you are still one to be comforted by its security as you fall asleep good for you, I hear its relaxing and therapeutic qualities are exceptional).

SO I finally got around to ironing and sewing on some patches to my denim jacket! Collected a few hand made crochet ones off etsy and a bloody kreepsville one and still going so if you have any stores you have in mind be sure to line me! Still deciding whether to paint something on the back or not; ideas anyone?

On another note I had too much fun courtesy of Lapalux and oOoOO Friday night. The boys are really sweet and polite MELLLLTTTT and when I asked Stuart if he could please play memories he replied with a british "I can do that for you." DOUBLE TRIPLE MELT. Hope you enjoy these videos sorry they are super shaky because of super fun times.
